Chiropractic for newborns, kids and teens
Wholistic Life sees patients of every age, from newborns and up. Looking for a pediatric chiropractor in Boca Raton, or a chiropractor for your kids in North Miami Beach? Our care for children is gentle, hands-on and built around how your child's body moves and grows.
We don't treat conditions, and we don't make promises about outcomes. We look at how your child moves, how their spine and nervous system are working together, and whether gentle care makes sense. If something is outside our scope, we'll tell you and point you to the right provider.
Why motion matters for growing bodies
Our approach starts with one idea: motion is life. The nervous system connects every organ and tissue in the body, and the body is meant to move. When motion is restricted, the body has a harder time doing what it was designed to do. Our job is to restore healthy motion so your child's body can do its work.
Children's bodies are changing quickly. They are learning to roll, crawl, walk, sit at desks, carry backpacks, play sports and spend time on screens. Looking at how they move through all of that is a simple, proactive way to pay attention to their development. This is education about our philosophy, not a promise of any specific result.
What a pediatric visit looks like
Your first visit is an exam plus a full session, usually 30 to 60 minutes, for babies as well as older children.
- A conversation with you. We start with your child's history and what you've noticed. Parents are involved from the first minute and stay in the room.
- A gentle, whole-body look. We observe posture, movement and comfort, and check the spine and the rest of the body. For babies this is a very light, hands-on exam, and your baby stays comfortable and close to you.
- A clear plan, or a referral. If gentle chiropractic care makes sense, we explain what we would do and why. If your child needs care from a pediatrician or another specialist, we say so.
- You decide. Nothing happens without your understanding and consent. Parents stay in the room for the whole visit and can ask questions at any time.
Gentle care, matched to your child's age
Care for children is not a smaller version of adult care. Dr. G uses his own technique: very gentle, light-pressure care scaled to your child's age and size. It combines three things:
- Facial unwinding with the Vibracussor, a gentle instrument used around the face and head.
- Instrument adjusting, using a handheld instrument rather than manual force.
- Very light manual adjusting, with a soft, hands-on touch.
There is no forceful twisting. We never force a movement, and we stop if your child is uncomfortable. Parents stay in the room throughout.
Parents are part of the care
We want you informed and comfortable. We explain what we find in plain language, show you what we're doing, and welcome your questions. Our care is meant to work alongside your child's pediatrician, not replace it. If you'd like us to share information with your child's doctor, we're glad to. Routine well-child visits, vaccinations and medical concerns stay with your pediatrician.
When we refer out
Chiropractic is not the right answer for every concern. If your child has a fever, trouble breathing, unusual drowsiness, vomiting, or an injury, call your pediatrician first. We will recommend that you see your pediatrician or another provider first, or in addition, when something needs medical evaluation. Call your pediatrician or seek urgent care right away for any of these:
- Fever in a newborn or young infant
- Trouble breathing, or blue or gray color
- Unusual drowsiness or being hard to wake
- Repeated vomiting, signs of dehydration, or refusing to feed
- Injury from a fall, accident or sports impact, especially to the head, neck or spine
- Any concern that makes you feel your child needs to be seen right now
A whole-family clinic
Many parents come in for their own care and bring the kids. Siblings may come along. We see patients of all ages, from newborns and up, and families are welcome at both clinics, where care is the same. Ask at booking how to schedule more than one family member.

Frequently asked questions
What age can a child see a chiropractor at Wholistic Life?
Wholistic Life sees patients from newborns and up. Babies, toddlers, kids and teens are all welcome at both clinics. Care is very gentle, light-pressure and adapted to your child's age and size, and parents stay in the room for every visit.
Is chiropractic care safe for babies and children?
Our care for children is very gentle, light-pressure and adapted to their age, and we screen history first and only provide care when it is appropriate. No healthcare is free of all risk, so we explain what we plan to do and answer your questions before we begin. If your child has a fever, trouble breathing, unusual drowsiness, vomiting, or an injury, call your pediatrician first. If something needs medical attention, we refer you to your pediatrician or another provider.
What does a pediatric chiropractic visit involve?
A first visit is an exam plus a full session, usually 30 to 60 minutes, including for babies. It starts with a conversation about your child's history and your goals, followed by a gentle, whole-body look at posture, movement and comfort. If chiropractic care makes sense, we explain what we would do and why before we do it. For babies, the exam is very light, and you stay in the room with your child.
What kind of technique do you use on children?
Dr. G uses his own technique: very gentle, light-pressure care scaled to your child's age. It includes facial unwinding with the Vibracussor, instrument adjusting, and very light manual adjusting. There is no forceful twisting, and we stop if your child is uncomfortable.
Can parents stay in the room during the visit?
Yes. Parents stay in the room for the whole visit, and we explain what we're doing as we go.
What is "motion is life" and how does it apply to kids?
It's our core idea: the nervous system connects every organ, the body is meant to move, and restoring healthy motion lets the body do its work. For children, we look at how they move as they grow, such as posture, comfort and how they carry and use their bodies. We share this as education, not as a promise of a specific result.
